Welcome to NovaSync

Let's create the OWNER account for this server. The OWNER has full control of the dashboard and can later add additional admins, moderators, and viewers from the Owner tab.

Pick a memorable name — this is the login you'll use at /dashboard.

Use a mix of upper / lower case, digits, and symbols. A short passphrase like three-yellow-rocks! beats a single word with punctuation.
Used by the dashboard's password-recovery flow if SMTP is configured. Can be set later from Settings → Security.
What happens next?
  • Your OWNER credentials are stored as a salted PBKDF2-SHA256 hash — no plaintext.
  • Any pre-existing default admin/changeme account on this server is deactivated.
  • You'll be redirected to the login page once setup completes.
  • From the dashboard's Owner tab you can add more admins, set granular permissions, and audit access.
